Turkish President: ‘We Have Confirmed Evidence’ That US-Led Forces Support ISIS

Well, here’s an interesting twist.

Now Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has gone on record to say that he has not just proof but “confirmed evidence” that the US-led coalition has directly supported ISIS terrorists in the Middle East.

Via The Sun:

Erdogan said “it’s very clear” the US is supporting terror groups in a damning press conference in Ankara.

He said: “They were accusing us of supporting Daesh (Islamic State).

Now they give support to terrorist groups including Daesh, YPG, PYD. It’s very clear. We have confirmed evidence, with pictures, photos and videos.”

Obviously Erdogan feels the US has screwed Turkey over to be suddenly changing his tune. Actually, he’s been acting different towards his “allies” ever since Turkey accused the US of being behind the failed coup attempt and took over the Incirlik US air base.

Although The Sun went on to confidently declare, “American-led forces have worked alongside Syrian rebels fighting Bashar al-Assad, but have avoided helping ISIS and other militant groups.”

How they know that so definitively is unclear.
